Four steps to your OpenClaw.
Create an instance, connect a model, and manage it day to day. Follow along and come back whenever you need.
Create an instance
Sign in, open the console and choose to create an instance. Give your OpenClaw a name.
- Follow creation progress on the instance detail page. Its running status appears when it is ready.
- If resources are unavailable, the console will tell you. You do not need to submit the creation request again.
Open OpenClaw
Once your instance is running and ready, choose “Open OpenClaw” to enter the native interface in your browser.
- For everyday use, open your instance directly from the console.
- To open it on another device, copy the full access link from the instance detail page.
The full access link grants control of the instance. Only share it with people you trust.
Connect a model
In OpenClaw’s configuration, choose a provider, enter your API key and select the model you want to use.
- Make sure the key is valid and your model account can call the selected model.
- When you use your own key, your provider bills you directly. See the official documentation for configuration details.

Manage your instance
Return to the console to review status and activity, and to start, stop or delete your instance.
- Starting and stopping can take a little time. Follow progress on the detail page after submitting the action.
- Deleting removes the instance and its data. Save anything you want to keep first.
- Stop
- Pause the runtime while keeping configuration and data.
- Start
- Resume the runtime and continue with the same instance.
- Delete
- Remove the instance and its data. Starting again cannot restore it.
